She knows the in-and-outs of real estate, possesses in-depth knowledge of the NoVA market, and focuses entirely on her clients. In my case, I no longer live in my condo in Clarendon. I reached out to Thu for help. The first thing she asked was, "Is this your forever home?" No. She advised that the best course of action would be to lease -- a source of passive income until I decide to sell. The place had to be renovated. I wanted to do a quality job so my tenant would have a nice place to call home. Problem was, I didn't know where to begin. Thu gave me a list of vendors who provided quality materials that wouldn't break the bank. The result is a well-appointed apartment that I am very proud of. Next came the marketing. This was all Thu. She hired a professional photographer who took very flattering pictures of the apartment, accentuating the best parts, like the new kitchen, the new bathroom, and the new floors. She wrote a short summary that hit on all the key features, and the result was a very attractive listing. After just one day, several inquiries came in. More came in the next day. Thu wanted to list the apartment before Memorial Day weekend, and this she achieved, but not without sacrificing her evenings to make the deadline. That's dedication. She scheduled showings for Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. It only took a few hours before I found the ideal lessee -- a young army officer whose next duty station is in the national capital region. Now came the drudgery. Thu perused HOA documents to make sure the required agreements were signed. Next were the contracts. Thu made sure the lessee and I signed all contracts on the same day. And that's all it took -- one day. This is thanks in no small part to Thu doing the legwork beforehand to ensure that when the day came, all documents that needed to be signed were ready to be signed. In addition to helping me, she also helped the lessee. He had many questions, as one would. Thu answered them openly and honestly. In the end, he was confident that he was headed into a good situation. I hope he likes the apartment and calls it home. (Thu also arranged space for his PODS container.) Keep in mind that while Thu was doing all this for me, she has several other clients for whom she's doing the same thing, all while maintaining the same excellent quality of service. I'm extremely thankful that Thu was my agent. She stood with me every step of the way, advised when I had questions, and reassured when I had doubts. This wouldn't have been possible without her. My tenant was moving out so I had to find another renter or sell. No matter my decision, the Condo needed work. That is where Thu came in. The kitchen needed remoldeling, painting, work on the bathroom. Thu knew all the people I needed to get my Condo in good shape. From people in granite for the kitchen to painters and hardwood floor people. Without ever worrying about it Thu put everything together. My Condo was perfect, it looked great. We tried renting it but that didn't work out so I put it up for sell. Thu was all over this. In no time at all it was sold, at the price she set. Her making money is not her thing. She had a job to do and she put in more time then anybody I have ever worked with. Working on my place doing what she had to do was amazing. I never met a real estate person with the drive, professionalism than Thu. I would recommend Thu to anybody that wants an honest hard-working woman to do the best job. She is a great person.

We had a very specific set of requirements for our home but Thu scoured all the listings and managed to find more than one that would work for us. When the transaction proved more difficult than most, she navigated the sticky parts beautifully. She helped us when we first moved to the area and we were so happy with her work that we went back to her two years later when we had to move again. She has demonstrated her position in the top-shelf league of Real Estate agents once and again by covering all the bases we know about but also addressing the elements normal home seekers would have missed. Thu Vu managed a delicate situation that went south fast when the prospective landlord decided to change the lease 9 times. Yes, we signed the lease 9 times because the landlord and the property manager kept changing their minds and making errors on things like move in date, length of the lease, utility equipment liability, old wall paint, even monthly rent! We totally panicked and were geared towards the next best home on the list, but Thu got on the phone and visited with the manager stopping this nonsense. Our experience with signing the lease to rent this home could have been miserable if it wasn't for our real estate agent. She kept us calm, notified us of every move, always responded to us within minutes, and brought us progress. Being a Northern Virginia Agent for over a decade, she has negotiated with pretty much all major players and agencies in the area, giving her an advantage on achieving the desired terms and price for her clients, which is what she did for us.
